Mission
- Prayerfully support global climate change
- Support the Principia College Administration in creating an energy efficient community
- Work to conserve energy in our own lives, and educate the community on more ways to conserve energy in their lives
Past Projects
- Hybrid car rally at the college
- Clean Energy Conference with Sierra Club support
- Showing of "An Inconvenient Truth" on campus
- Hosted a talk by Hunter Lovins on campus
- Began a Turn Off the Lights Campaign on campus
- Put up bimonthly flyers about energy related topics
- Submitted a proposal to our administration to sign the Presidents Climate Change Commitment
Future Projects
- Showing of The 11th Hour
- Speaker/Conference (jointly hosted with Amnesty International)
- Lightbulb exchange where students throw away incandescants for CFL lightbulbs.
- Proposing wind research for a wind turbine on campus property.
