Purpose Statement:
Clean Sphere is a student club that promotes environmental appreciation, awareness, and stewardship among the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Black Hawk College.
Environmental Issues Addressed:
This varies with student interest. Members have the opportunity to organize and participate in a variety of environmental efforts including, but not limited to, cleanups, habitat restoration, advocacy efforts, enhanced recycling programs, and seminars or speakers that address environmental issues.

Current Activities
Educational trips to Niabi Zoo (Coal Valley, IL) and the Mississippi
River Museum and Aquarium (Dubuque, IA) are planned for this spring.
Also work with other local environmental organizations (Sierra Club,
River Action, etc.) on service and outreach projects.
Hope to help with a campus rain garden project.
